Reuben Jenkins

Reuben Jenkins is a partner trustee representing the Student Christian Movement (SCM). SCM works to create and sustain progressive, inclusive Christian spaces for university students; whilst a student, studying theology, Reuben ran the local Cambridge SCM group.

Reuben grew up in Kent, and his home church of St Leonard’s, Hythe, is a proud Inclusive Church.

Reuben now works for CBM UK, a charity working to transform the lives of people with disabilities in some of the world’s poorest places, as well as for Creative Folkestone, at Derek Jarman’s Prospect Cottage in Dungeness. He is also a member of the Lyn’s House community, which promotes mutually life-enhancing friendship between people with and without intellectual disabilities.
