The vast majority of churches who have joined the network are included in our online directory. We would recommend the directory as an excellent starting point for finding a church near you that has an inclusive theology and is committed to being proactively welcoming, affirming, and open to diversity.
As with all things, inclusion in practice needs to be a responsive and dynamic mindset, where we are always open to listening and learning, it is inevitable that there will be a wide variety of how ‘being an Inclusive Church’ is experienced and understood in individual churches. If you have any comments or concerns about any of our churches, please do let us know through IC office . (Both positive or negative feedback is appreciated.)
Please contact the National Coordinator to talk about a specific church in our directory.
If you would like to join as a church, please also contact the National Coordinator, and read this page.
If you cannot find a church in your area or you have any questions about any of our churches, please email the office or contact the appropriate regional ambassador
We are also intending to further develop the directory soon to include more comprehensive information about our churches, so watch this space for that!
Affirm: Baptists Together for LGBT+ Inclusion, Dignity & Worth, OneBodyOneFaith, Open Table Network, and Quest endorse the Inclusive Church charter for churches from across a breadth of traditions to use as a signpost for their aspirations to become more inclusive places of worship for LGBTQIA+ people. The aims of these organisations are specific to sexuality and gender identity; however, they are committed to Inclusive Church’s broader goals, and encourage churches to view inclusion broadly, not only through the lens of LGBTQIA+ affirmation.
