Jack Woodruff is an independent trustee based in the North of England. In the past few years, he has worked for the Fellowship of Reconciliation as a Digital Storyteller, before moving to Iona to work at the Abbey for the Iona Community, for 2 years. Now he is studying for a PhD in the topic of mathematical biology, specifically the study of infectious diseases. He is also leader of Northern Leg of Pilgrim Cross, an annual ecunemial walking pilgrimage from Nottingham to Walsingham during Holy Week. He is a member of the Iona Community Young Adults Group as well as a trustee of the Iona Community.

Jack was a partner trustee representing SCM for a few months in 2022, before becoming an independent trustee in 2022, when his role at SCM finished. His extended co-option as an independent trustee was confirmed by his election at the 2024 AGM. Jack has served as honorary secretary of the board since September 2024.
