Dan (he/him) was born and raised in Essex, and spent a few years each in Southampton, Vauxhall, Cambridge and Romford before moving to Wales in 2021. Dan is a Vicar in the Barry Ministry Area of the Church in Wales; he is a Progressive Anglo-Catholic priest and a member of IC’s partner organisation the Society of Catholic Priests (SCP). During his years as a trustee, Dan particularly enjoyed being part of our annual Disability Conferences, through which he was helped to realise that he is Disabled (or “neuro-fabulous”!)
Dan first joined the board in September 2013, representing Young IC; he was then elected to four three-year terms as an independent trustee: at the AGMs 2015, 2018, 2021 and 2024. He resigned effective the 2026 AGM, having served as Vice-Chair of trustees (November 2021 – May 2022 and September 2025 – July 2026), and as Chair (May 2022 – September 2025).
