Include Everyone
We affirm the dignity and worth of every person, regardless of characteristics. Our vision embraces people of all identities and backgrounds, and invites both churches and individuals to join the movement. Invite Reimagining
We challenge assumptions and invite the Church to imagine and embody more just, joyful and holistically inclusive ways of being. Our member churches cover a diverse range of denominations, size and worship styles, but all share a commitment to offering a compassionate welcome to people, just as they are. Intersectional thinking
Inclusion is a shared, evolving journey. None of this is done in isolation. We listen, learn, adapt and grow alongside allies, peers and supporters. Whether you are an ally, advocate or ally, there is a place for you here. Our new strategy, The Magnificent Seven, depends on our members getting involved. Learn more: (link to follow).
Inform and inspire
To help equip and empower people to understand and embody inclusive thinking, we offer resources, reflections and research based on lived experience. These range from conversation starters and short courses to longer academic and theological material . Many resources are free, others can be purchased. We can also suggest speakers to support your community’s journey into deeper inclusivity and accessibility.
Involve Others
Inclusion becomes possible when we do it together. Our network connects churches, individuals and groups to share wisdom, amplify strengths and support one another. We celebrate progress, tell good-news stories and offer encouragement to bolster the courage needed for this challenging work. Interact Collaboratively
Collaboration strengthens inclusion. We work with organisations whose expertise enriches our shared mission, and signpost to groups with specialist knowledge. Each year we work in partnership with stmartin-in-the-fields to plan and deliver a Disability Conference in October. But we also work with a number of other groups on both short-term and long-term projects. Examples of our partners
Invest in the future
Meaningful change takes time. We support and encourage inclusive voices in church governance and representation, whether in General Synod or other structures. We are very grateful for all financial contributions towards our work but also value the time and talents of our members as we seek to develop sustainable growth.
In the Autumn of 2024 we conducted a survey inviting contributions from every part of our network, those who are already members and those who haven’t yet joined. We are grateful to all those who took the time to respond. The results inspired and informed the development of our new strategy that we launched in May 2025.
Alongside this, Inclusive Church have taken the opportunity to adopt a new logo and visual identity, that we believe helps to articulate our mission. We are moving into our Butterfly Era and hope you will join us on the journey.
