Include Everyone
We affirm and value the dignity and worth of every person, regardless of specific characteristics. Our vision statement is here Who’s Included? You may like to explore officially joining us, as a church or an individual.
Invite Reimagining
We challenge assumptions and invite the Church to imagine and embody more just, joyful and holistically inclusive ways of being. Our churches cover a diverse range of denominations, size and worship styles, but all are committed to being and becoming ever more inclusive and compassionately welcoming. Involve Others
Inclusion is a shared journey, we are always listening, learning, adapting and evolving. None of this is done in isolation. We recognise and celebrate the impact of having allies, peers and supporters. The success of our new strategy, the Magnificent Seven, depends on our members getting involved. Inform with Care-full Grace
We offer resources, research and reflections to help equip and empower people to understand the value and importance of inclusive thinking. From short courses and conversation starters, sharing personal lived experience, to academic justifications and theological groundings. Many of our resources are made available free of charge, but there are others you can also buy.
Invest for Change
We know that change takes time and church governance structures are not always the most straightforward. We actively support and encourage inclusive voices to be heard e.g. through General Synod or other church systems. We are very grateful for any financial contributions towards our work.
Interact and Collaborate
We are ecumenical and not a single-issue organisation. We work with other organisations and signpost to groups with specialist knowledge and expertise. We work in partnership with stmartin-in-the-fields planning and delivering an annual Disability Conference each year. In-courage Growth
We know it can be challenging, lonely and difficult work striving for greater inclusion and improved accessibility. We recognise the courage it takes to address discrimination and injustice, yet we seek to empower, equip and encourage this to happen. We share and celebrate progress, and commit to ongoing reflection and learning. You can read back copies of our newsletters, follow us on social media or engage with our library of resources
In the Autumn of 2024 we conducted a survey inviting contributions from every part of our network, those who are already members and those who haven’t yet joined. We are grateful to all those who took the time to respond. The results inspired and informed the development of our new strategy that we launched in May 2025.
Alongside this, Inclusive Church have taken the opportunity to adopt a new logo and visual identity, that we believe helps to articulate our mission. We are moving into our Butterfly Era and hope you will join us on the journey.
