St Clare’s is a small and friendly inclusive church community, that offers a home to the spiritually seeking, to those who have wandered away from God, to those who never knew him and to those who have lost faith in the church.
We are SMALL. There are about 40 people who would say that they are part of St Clare’s community. There’s no formal membership though, you just come along on a Sunday and get to know us and be part of us.
We are ANGLICAN. St Clare’s is part of Coventry Cathedral, which is part of the Church of England, but our community includes people from other churches, and anyone is welcome to come and join of us on our journey, from any faith background or none.
We are DIVERSE. St Clare’s community includes people from a wide range of ethic and social backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities and neurodiversity.
We are YOUNG. There are people of every age at St Clare’s but the majority of our community are under 40 years old.
We are CHILDREN… well some of us. Our community includes children of all ages. Some of our Sunday services have a particular appeal to our younger members.
We are IMPERFECT. None of us at St Clare’s thinks we have all the answers, or gets it right all the time. But by God’s grace we are trying together to walk towards healing and wholeness and deeper understanding of one another.
And most importantly…
We are SEEKING to know more what it means to follow Christ and to grow his kingdom in our lives and in the places we work and study and live.
And finally…
You are WELCOME to come along and get to know us and see if St Clare’s might be the place for you. The St Clare’s Community meets for worship every Sunday at 12.00 pm.
