sexuality and poverty coversFollowing on from the books on Mental Health and Disability, the second pair of books in the Inclusive Church Resource Series have been published.

These next 2 books in the series will be on Poverty and Sexuality.

Each book has an introduction, theological reflection, stories from lived experience and a practical resource section.

The book on Poverty has an introduction by IC trustee Savi Hensman with a theology of poverty by Susan Durber, theological advisor for Christian Aid.

The book on Sexuality has an introduction by IC trustee Simon Sarmiento, and a theological section by Susannah Cornwall, Advanced research fellow at the University of Exeter.

Commenting on this forthcoming book, Jeffrey John, Dean of St Alban's has written this:
"This is a perceptive and powerful commentary on a debate which should have been concluded years ago."

These books will be launched at 2 separate events:

Poverty - Wednesday, November 26 2014

If you live locally and would like to join us for thee launch events - please let us know. Please be aware these are a free events, but with limited availability.

The final pair of books will be published in March 2015: Ethnicity by Michael Jagessar and Gender by Rosemary Lain Priestley.  
These are ideal books for clergy, lay leaders, parish ministry teams, PCC members. They could be the basis of  material for home group study.

Each church should have a set and encourage members to read them. Every registered church should have these for sale on their bookstall! This is something that Inclusive Church members and supporters should be proud about, celebrating and promoting!
