AUC is an active, inclusive Christian community based in the heart of Edinburgh. We celebrate the Christian Story, welcome and affirm people of all races, genders, sexualities, ages, faiths and abilities, and work to promote justice and well-being locally and globally. We are an Inclusive Church, Fair Trade Church, and an Eco Congregation. We are part of the United Reformed Church. We share in a Local Ecumenical Covenant called TLC (The Local Church) with St Columba’s by the Castle Episcopal Church, and Greyfriars Kirk Church of Scotland, and work in partnership with the Metropolitan Community Church.

Accessibility Information
At Augustine you are free to be yourself. You are free to choose which parts of the service to participate in and don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to. All services are streamed online and in-person services are relaxed and you are welcome to move around the sanctuary or take a break in the foyer at any point during the service. Our Communion wine is alcohol-free and we use vegan and gluten-free bread. All are welcome to participate or not, as they feel comfortable. Step free access is available to the church with lift access to lower levels and accessible toilets on all levels. Bathrooms on the ground floor are gender neutral. A hearing loop is in use in the Sanctuary and large print or braille hymn books are available on requestSame Sex Weddings
