Fiona MacMillan is an independent trustee. She chairs the Disability Advisory Group at St Martin-in-the-Fields and leads the planning team for our annual partnership conference on disability, faith, church and God. Fiona co-edited the booklets Calling from the Edge and Something Worth Sharing and convenes the Shut In Shut Out Shut Up series on the HeartEdge platform, bringing disabled-led conversations about theology and church to a wider audience. After ten years managing innovative health projects Fiona studied at the School for Social Entrepreneurs, becoming one its first fellows. She combines these experiences in her writing and work on disability, lived experience and questions of social justice. Fiona has recently been elected to the Church of England’s General Synod and is a member of the Nazareth Community.
