The 7th annual conference on disability and church, a partnership between St Martin-in-the-Fields and Inclusive Church, will take place at St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar, London over two days on the weekend of the 13th-14th October. It is organised by and for disabled people and is a gathering to resource each other and the church, with a focus on not just access but participation, not just following but leadership- getting in and joining in too.
On the first day, there will be input from speakers, including June Boyce-Tillman, Tim Goode, Fiona MacMillan, Ann Memmott, Emily Richardson and Sam Wells. On the second day, there is a special healing service and Eucharist at St Martin's in the morning and in the afternoon, there will be a rare screening of the film Defiant LIves.
