Accessibility Information

Hello and welcome to our church community. We are very committed to being an Inclusive Church in all ways and are keen to always be learning more. Our church is a beautiful Victorian chapel, and was therefore built before anyone thought about accessibility issues; however, we have done what we can to make the building as open as possible to all users. The church is just 3 blocks north of the Bond Street tube station on Oxford Street – at the junction of Hinde Street and Thayer St. The front entrance to the church is up a flight of 8 broad stone steps with handrails. There is a lift entrance to the right hand side of the steps which takes you to the church level, and down to the basement meeting rooms. The church building has accessible WC’s with baby changing tables at both levels. The weekday entrance to the church (for most meetings and enquiries) is at 19 Thayer St. There is no disabled access at this entrance, so please use the intercom by the lift on Hinde Street mentioned above to speak to someone in the office about gaining access. We are licenced to conduct same-sex weddings, and would be delighted to discuss your wishes with you at any time. As well as Sunday Services we have a range of small groups where it is often easier to get to know people. There is a regular Tuesday meditation group which can be accessed in person or online. We look forward to meeting you. Don't worry if you arrive late for worship - we understand about transport in London!
